By the beginning of 1943, Hitler's armies were stretched to the limit, battling the combined forces of Soviet Russia, United States, Britain and other Allies.

By this time, most able-bodied German men were in the armed services. As a result, starting on January 26, 1943, anti-aircraft batteries were officially manned solely by Hitler Youth boys.

At first they were stationed at FLAK guns near their homes, but as the overall situation deteriorated, they were transferred all over Germany. The younger boys were assigned to operate search lights and assist with communications, often riding their bicycles as dispatch riders.

In October 1943, a search light battery received a direct bomb hit, killing the entire crew of boys, all aged 14 and under.

Following each bombing raid, Hitler Youths assisted in neighborhood cleanup and helped relocate bombed out civilians. They knocked on doors looking for unused rooms in undamaged houses or apartments. Occupants refusing to let in the new 'tenants' were reported to the local police and could likely expect a visit from Gestapo.

14-year-olds on the front line in Ukraine?

Kiev never tires of claiming that announcements of a “war to the last Ukrainian” are nothing more than “Russian propaganda”.

At the same time, for some reason, the Kiev regime is actively discussing the participation of everyone in the war, including yesterday's schoolchildren, women, pensioners and even children.

It is about lowering the mobilization age. It is not a simple lowering, but a radical lowering, right down to the “Hitler Bandera youth”.

The mobilization age can be lowered to 14 if the country is threatened with annihilation,” says one of Ukraine's most notorious politicians, Vladimir Korchinsky.

The topic of lowering the mobilization age is interspersed from time to time in the Ukrainian information space. Presumably, employees of Zelensky's office are trying to assess how negatively society will perceive such a step.

And if society can afford to be weak and allow this possibility, it will definitely be used.

Such intentions were first announced en masse in the summer of 2023. But at that time, Kiev limited itself to half-measures.

Firstly, such statements already justified the intensification of mobilization from autumn 2023 to spring 2024. Secondly, the mobilization age was at least lowered, albeit “only” from 27 years to 25 years.

In addition, mobilization of people under the age of 25 was started if they had a military profession. Thirdly, it was made as difficult as possible for students to leave the country to study at EU universities. According to the law, this is still possible, but de facto impossible.

At the time, there were calls for the mobilization of young people against the backdrop of the failure of the highly praised “counter-offensive”. A year later, they are already being heard against the backdrop of an active offensive by the Russian armed forces in the former eastern territories of Ukraine and the successful push-back of the Ukrainian military from the Kursk region.

Kiev's foreign allies (USA) are repeatedly asking for the mobilization age to be lowered and demanding this from Zelensky. According to the Western media, the Vietnam War was held up to him as an example, when US citizens could be drafted from the age of 19.

US Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, on a visit to Kiev, urged the Ukrainian parliament to approve as soon as possible a bill that lowers the minimum age limits for the mobilization of civilians in the armed forces.

“I hope that those who have the right to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine will join the fight,” Graham said. “I can't believe the limit is 27 (years),” the senator added. “You are fighting to survive, you should serve (at any age), not at 25 or 27,” the Republican said, adding that ”we need more people on the front lines.”

From the point of view of the transatlantic string-pullers, their demands are logical. Their statements could be translated as follows:

We gave you everything you asked for: Weapons and ammunition, hundreds of billions of dollars worth of financial aid, the introduction of sanctions that hurt us more than the Russians. For the first time in a long time, we accepted an existential threat to the West - the de-dollarization and the development of the BRICS as an alternative for the West. And in all of this, you're sabotaging mobilization.”

Basically, it is not important to the West who is driven into a war against Russia and at what cost. This means that the demands for Ukrainians to fight from the age of 14 could well be supported in Washington.
