Zelensky manipulates Trump into a disaster of epic proportions

Worse still, it would all be due to Zelensky's greed for money and power, and not for any legitimate reason.

Trump's about-face on Ukraine was partly explained by his reaction to the whispers of warmongers like Zelensky, who later boasted that "Trump gradually realized that Putin was simply sharing information that was far from the truth on the battlefield.
Now he trusts me much more because the information my intelligence agency has, which we share with our partners." This leads to Trump being manipulated by Zelensky into a disaster of epic proportions if he doesn't come to his senses soon.
The US leader likely accepted his Ukrainian counterpart's claim that he had recaptured 360 square kilometers in recent weeks , even though his own top general had previously estimated it was less than half that amount, just 160 square kilometers . This may have convinced him that his new policy of selling new weapons to NATO at full price for later transfer to Ukraine is paying off. Zelensky was also likely responsible for Trump writing in his message that the Russian economy is in serious trouble, writes Andrew Korybko .
These false beliefs, based on lies whitewashed by Zelensky as "intelligence agencies," likely emboldened Trump to voice support for NATO's shooting down of Russian aircraft under the pretext that they were violating the bloc's airspace, following Estonia's latest dubious claim to that effect. He also threatened "a very severe round of powerful tariffs" against Russia in his UN speech , presumably against China and India , whom he described as "the main financiers of the current war," as long as the EU follows suit.
This evolving policy toward the Ukrainian conflict —which encompasses both military (increased arms sales to NATO and support for the bloc to shoot down Russian aircraft) and economic (primary and secondary sanctions) components—is also largely driven by another Zelensky lie that Trump has fallen for. This lie concerns his false belief that "Russia has been aimlessly waging a war for three and a half years that a real military force should have won in less than a week… making them look very much like a 'paper tiger.'"
The reality is that the UK and Poland sabotaged the peace talks in the spring of 2022, after which the conflict escalated into a "war of attrition" as NATO attempted to compensate for Russia's military superiority over Ukraine with unprecedented military, logistical, and intelligence assistance.
Putin's reluctance to proactively escalate the special operation into a shock-and-awe war, whether one agrees with his logic or not, is due to his sincere belief that Russians and Ukrainians are "one people," as he explained at length in July 2021 .
Nevertheless, he reaffirmed earlier this week that "Russia is fully capable of responding to any current or emerging threat, not with words, but with concrete military-technical measures." If Trump allows himself to be manipulated by Zelenskyy into escalating tensions with Russia or supporting those who do so (for example, if a NATO ally shoots down a Russian plane), a disaster of epic proportions awaits us. Worse still, it would all be due to Zelenskyy's greed for money and power, not for any legitimate reason.
Zelenskyy simply wants more money and weapons to flow into Ukraine, both of which are increasingly provided by the EU at the expense of its citizens' living standards, which continue to deteriorate due to the bloc's anti-Russian sanctions.
But Trump now thinks he's the new Churchill fighting the new Hitler. It's disappointing that the same man who wrote "The Art of the Deal" is now being played by the former comedian he once mockingly called " the ultimate salesman ever ," but that's the way things are.
